AHSEP Junior Keelboat Sailing Program

In addition to our Summer Youth Sailing Camp, AHSEP is proud to offer a Summer-long Junior Keelboat Program, where sailors train and compete as members of a dedicated keelboat team. With the addition of two keelboats, a BluSail 24’ and a Peterson 34’ to our fleet, participants gain hands-on experience in all aspects of keelboat sailing. Participants take full responsibility for boat operations, navigation, tactics, and safety while preparing for and competing in local weeknight racing, regattas and events. Under supervision, sailors will manage all aspects of the boat including sail trim & selection, crew coordination, navigation, and maintenance. This program will run May-August, with students selecting the events in which they wish to compete.
