AHSEP 2020 Sandy Hook Bay Thursday Night Dinghy Series (Open to 2020 AHSEP Advanced Students contingent on equipment availability)
The Atlantic Highlands Sailing Education Program (AHSEP) invites experienced sailors of all ages to come and enjoy the warm water and terrific evening sailing conditions in Sandy Hook Bay this Summer. This is not an instructor supervised event but rather a mid-week racing opportunity in which experienced AHSEP sailors can participate. The series will be sailed each Thursday from June 18, 2020 through August 6, 2020. We expect a good turnout of Lasers. Sailors of other classes such as the 420 or Opti should contact us before registering to confirm there is sufficient interest in a particular class. AHSEP will have some vessels available for our 2020 class registrants to use for this series based on a first-come first-served basis and only if pre-booked with AHSEP. Register here for this event: https://www.regattanetwork.com/event/20484

Sailing Adventure Week (Open to 2020 Intermediate and Advanced Sailors) May possibly be canceled.
This is a one week session concluding the summer, and is open to current AHSEP students. Instead of racing, the focus will be on enjoying sailing in other ways. Weather permitting, we plan to have activities such as sailing to a beach for a picnic, a pirate treasure hunt, and sailing games. On the final day of the session sailors will have an opportunity to crew on a large sailboat. Space is limited.
